Red Frog for Families is a multidisciplinary clinic, specialising in childhood development. Our team of therapists and carers have been brought together to allow us to support other families facing similar challenges to our own. We support our families through a range of appropriate therapies including; occupational therapy, speech therapy, music therapy, community access, and social programs, along with assistance for children, adolescents and young adults to access and interact with their community independently, safely, and competently.
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational therapy enables us to engage in activities of everyday living. We look at how to facilitate engagement and improve performance in these activities across different environments.
Our occupational therapists engage children in the occupation of play to develop essential, foundational skills for everyday function in a fun and motivating way. Once foundational abilities are in place, our therapists shift focus to teach necessary skills to allow the child to achieve success in other occupational areas, such as school, social interaction, community access and independence.
SPEECH THERAPY
Our speech therapists work on more than just speech. We also work on language, augmentative alternative communication, social communication and literacy skills.
A common misconception is that speech pathologists work primarily with children, however we provide speech therapy solutions to all ages, working on aspects that affect the entire lifespan.
MUSIC THERAPY
Music Therapy is different for everyone! Sessions are tailored for each individual or group, depending on their musical preferences, goals and needs.
Some common targets can include; social connection, self-expression, functional speech and language skills, fine and gross motor skills, turn-taking, emotional and sensory regulation.
Sessions can involve talking, listening to music, moving or dancing to music, and making music through singing or instrument play.
COMMUNITY ACCESS
Providing assistance to access the local community including recreation, leisure, learning and transport to and from therapy sessions. Our community access team work closely with our therapists to help reach goals.
Our therapy dogs, Shelby and Willow are in training for animal assisted therapy.

No matter if your child is too small to walk, or big enough to drive, we have a space designed to challenge them in just the right ways!
